MEETING MINUTES – MONTH OF MARCH

MARCH 25, 2013

            

      The Corinna Water District met at the Stewart Library Building and the meeting was called to order at 3:05pm.

      Present were Chairman Jim Louder,  Bill Condon, Elaine Lister,  and Operator Scott Paradis.

       Treasurer reported the checking account balance at Sebasticook Valley Credit Union is $8600.80 as of March 25, 2013.  The balance will be $6,768.31 when checks listed on the March Warrant are approved.

       Elaine Lister made a motion to accept the February minutes.   Bill Condon seconded.   Unanimous approval.

  

PUBLIC COMMENTARY:

      None

OPERATOR’S REPORT:      

      Operator reported that everything is going OK and he will read meters on Monday April 1^st. 

 BUSINESS:   

ELECTION OF OFFICERS  .  .  .

      Bill Condon made a motion to elect Jim Louder Chairperson and Elaine Lister seconded.  Unanimous approval. 

      Jim Louder made a motion to elect Elaine Lister Clerk and Bill Condon seconded.  Unanimous approval.

      Jim Louder made a motion to appoint Sandee Kerr Secretary/Treasurer and Elaine Lister seconded.

      Unanimous approval.


REPORT ON MEETING WITH SMALL WATER UTILITIES AND STATE OFFICIALS. . .

      Bill Condon and Jim Louder reported on the March 15^th meeting.  A brief discussion followed.

      Steve Levy (MRWA) is in the process of setting up a meeting with State Officials in Augusta to discuss CWD concerns.

 

OTHER BUSINESS:
      None

                         

REVIEW OF  ACCOUNTS:

       25       accounts paid in full

         1       account – makes partial payments, has credit balance

         1       account not occupied/no further billing ( Insurance Building )

 

           

WARRANT FOR UNPAID BILLS:    

The March Warrant was reviewed and approved. 

 

 

The next meeting will be held on Monday April 29, 2013 at 3:00pm.
