CORINNA WATER DISTRICT
MEETING MINUTES - MONTH OF OCTOBER

MEETING OCTOBER 28, 2013

             

      The Corinna Water District met at the Stewart Library Building and the meeting was called to order at 3:00pm.

      Present were Chairman Jim Louder, Elaine Lister, Operator Scott Paradis, and Secretary-Treasurer Sandee Kerr.

 

      Treasurer reported the checking account balance at Sebasticook Valley Credit Union is $16,320.88 as of October 28, 2013.  The balance will be $14,108.23 when checks listed on the October Warrant are approved.

 

      Jim Louder made a motion to accept the September minutes.  Elaine Lister seconded.   Unanimous approval.

 

 

      PUBLIC COMMENTARY:

      None

 

      OPERATOR’S REPORT:      

        

      The Sanitary Survey by the State was done today, the operator was told that everything looks OK.  The State will send the report in a couple of weeks.

      

      BUSINESS:  

      There was a discussion of recent follow-up actions after the meeting with State officials.  Jim Louder spoke with Steve Levy.   They hope to get going asap.  Jim has been putting together information that Steve will need in order to try to get state funding.

 

      OTHER:

      Because the TownOfficeBuilding will be closed for Holidays on Nov 11, Nov 27 & Nov 28, Sandee Kerr suggested a change of CWD office hours for next  month as follows:

Thursday               11/7       8:00 – 12:00    

Thursday               11/14     8:00 – 12:00

Thursday               11/21     8:00 – 4:30

Monday                 11/25     12:30 – 4:30

Monday                 11/25     3:00 PM    Water District Meeting

 

      REVIEW OF  ACCOUNTS:

16           accounts paid in full

  9            accounts owe for 3^rd Quarter

  1            account – makes partial payments, has credit balance

  1            account not occupied/no further billing ( InsuranceBuilding )

         

WARRANT FOR UNPAID BILLS:    

The October Warrant was reviewed and approved. 

 

 

The next meeting will be held on Monday November 25, 2013 at 3:00pm.
