The Corinna Water District met at the Stewart Library Building and the meeting was called to order at 3:00pm.
Present were Chairman Jim Louder, Bill Condon, Elaine Lister, Scott Paradis, Operator and Secretary-Treasurer Sandee Kerr.
Treasurer reported the checking account balance at Sebasticook Valley Credit Union is $11616.48 as of June 30, 2014. The balance will be $8,266.10 when checks listed on the June Warrant are approved. Bill Condon made a motion to accept the May minutes. Jim Louder seconded. Unanimous approval.

OPERATOR’S REPORT:
Discussed the need for a Chlorine Residual Tester. Also discussed a problem with the touch screen at the water plant which may be a programming issue.
BUSINESS ITEMS:
- Update on treatment plant repairs - Discussed.
- Update on application procedures and fees. Discussed. CWD will provide meters with backflow device at a cost to consumers with new services. Requiring a plumbing permit at the time of a new installation was also discussed and it was agreed that it would be a good idea.
- Discussion regarding Corinna Water District’s field on St Albans Road following an inquiry from a neighbor. The Board of Trustees unanimously agreed that the land should be used by the Corinna Water District only and not be used for any other purpose. It was agreed that it is not possible to allow a sale of that land or any portion of it. Jim Louder will return the neighbor’s call.
- Update regarding ongoing work with MRWA. MRWA has been meeting every other month. Jim Louder is working on a subsidy and is trying to get them to pursue DEP more. It was mentioned that Steve Levy, who is the MRWA representative that CWD has worked with closely for years, has retired.
- Audit for 2013. Printed copies were distributed to the trustees.
