CORINNA WATER DISTRICT

MEETING MINUTES – MONTH OF AUGUST

                     August 29, 2011                                               

The Corinna Water District met at the Stewart Library Building and the meeting was called to order at 3:00 p.m.  Present were Chairman Jim Louder, Bill Condon, Elaine Lister, and Secretary/Treasurer Sandee Kerr.

        Bill Condon made a motion to approve the minutes of the July, 2011 meeting.  Elaine Lister seconded the motion.  Unanimous approval.

       Treasurer reported the checking account balance at Sebasticook Valley Credit Union is $16,325.75 as of August 29, 2011.  The balance will be $10,251.94 when checks listed on the August Warrant are approved.

        PUBLIC COMMENTARY:

        None

OPERATOR’S REPORT:      

Operator reported that everything is going well, there are no problems at this time.

BUSINESS:

-          Damage to CWD metering equipment and junction box due to inadequate marking was repaired.

-          Terms and Conditions must be completed and approved by CWD by the end of the year.  Jim Louder is still working on this with Maine Rural Water.

REVIEW OF  ACCOUNTS:

 19 accounts paid in full to date

  1 accounts have a credit balance

  1 account making weekly payments for 2^nd Qtr

         4 accounts owe for 2^nd Qtr

 1 account not occupied/no further billing ( Ins  Bldg )

WARRANT FOR UNPAID BILLS:    

The August Warrant was reviewed and approved.

The next meeting will be held on Monday September 26, 2011.
