Meeting Minutes
November 1, 2018
The meeting was called to order by Ken Dow at 6:30 PM.

The minutes from October 4, 2018 were accepted by vote.

SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS
Construction Subcommittee
Maintenance Schedule (latest revision)
Maintenance Inspection – Ken handed out a copy of the latest revision of the Maintenance Schedule/Report. The Construction subcommittee has inspected the building according to the specification.
List of Maintenance Items (Categories and Priorities) – Ken handed out a copy of the Maintenance Items 2018, maintenance needs identified during a walk through on September 19, 2018. The items are organized by Building Element reference in the Maintenance Schedule/Report and listed by priorities.
A summary of endowed maintenance expenditures as of 11/1/18 shows that $1,533.00 has been spent from the 2018 endowment payout. The amount remaining in the account is $2,017.00.
Painting of the floor in the Special Collections Room is complete.
Plan for work in the basement
The Construction Subcommittee approached Ralph McNaughton to get a price for rebuilding the basement entrance stairway and doors, and removal of the fill in the central arch of the basement divider wall.
Network and security proposal from Technology Solutions
Ron Potvin of Technology Solutions will visit the building and develop a proposal for security cameras and data network expansion. Bill will develop a cost estimate for the project.
Private Library Subcommittee
The Private Library Subcommittee will work to determine the configuration of shelving needed in the Special Collections Room.
The software for use on the digital tablets in the Private Library Museum has been selected. We await the installation and return of the devices from the technician,
The Library Museum Advisory Board Formation Subcommittee is meeting to develop a proposal.
OTHER BUSINESS
Moving the Internet network entrance to the other side of the building will cost about $500 more than the original proposal due to cost increases, The cost will be about $5,583.
