CORINNA WATER DISTRICT

MEETING MINUTES – MONTH OF JUNE

JUNE 25, 2012

                                                    

The Corinna Water District met at the Stewart Library Building and the meeting was called to order at 3:00pm.  Present were Chairman Jim Louder, Elaine Lister, Operator Scot Paradis and Secretary-Treasurer Sandee Kerr.

Treasurer reported the checking account balance at Sebasticook Valley Credit Union is $12,805.83
as of June 25, 2012.  The balance will be $11,232.52 when checks listed on the June Warrant are approved.

The approval of May Minutes was tabled until the next meeting.  

 
PUBLIC COMMENTARY:

None

OPERATOR’S REPORT:      

Everything is going good.   The hydrants will be flushed and meter readings taken on Monday before

the holiday. 

 

BUSINESS:

Items Reviewed and Discussed

-  Final audit

-  Status of QuickBooks, the water district’s new accounting software.

-  Expiration dates of the Trustees.  A letter will be sent to the Town with the current dates of 
   expiration.

- No word yet on the grant for infrastructure.

-  Tower inspection.  Quote from previous company to put a robot into the tank is $2000

   ( $1600 Inspection / $400 Testing ).  Jim Louder moved that we accept the quote from

   Statewide, Inc.  Operator will make arrangements for Statewide to perform the services.

          

REVIEW OF  ACCOUNTS:

24 accounts paid in full to date

1 account – makes partial payments, has credit balance

1 account not occupied/no further billing ( Insurance Building )

 

       

WARRANT FOR UNPAID BILLS:    

The June Warrant was reviewed and approved. 

 

 

The next meeting will be held on Monday July 30, 2012.
