CORINNA WATER DISTRICT
MEETING MINUTES – MONTH OF NOVEMBER
NOVEMBER 26, 2012
The Corinna Water District met at the Stewart Free Library Building and the meeting was called to order at 3:02pm.
Present were Chairman Jim Louder, Bill Condon, Elaine Lister and Secretary-Treasurer Sandee Kerr.
Treasurer reported the checking account balance at Sebasticook Valley Credit Union is $9815.59 as of
November 26, 2012. The balance will be $8294.83 when checks listed on the November Warrant are approved.
Jim Louder made a motion to accept the October minutes. Bill Condon seconded. Unanimous approval.
PUBLIC COMMENTARY:
None
OPERATOR’S REPORT:
Operator was not in attendance at the meeting by reported in advance of the meeting that everything is working OK.
BUSINESS:
Not much happened this past month regarding the stakeholders meeting to discuss CWD’s financial and operational future and we are waiting for an update.
2013 Corinna Water District Administration was discussed.
CWD 2013 Budget was discussed.
Jim Louder mentioned that we might want to check into the Electricity of Maine program to
see if CWD qualifies as a small business and is eligible for a reduced per kilowatt hour rate on both
of the water district bills from CMP.
REVIEW OF ACCOUNTS:
18 accounts paid in full to date
6 accounts – owe for 3rd Quarter
1 account owes for 2nd & 3rd Quarters
1 account – makes partial payments, has credit balance
1 account not occupied/no further billing ( Insurance Building )
WARRANT FOR UNPAID BILLS:
The November Warrant was reviewed and approved.
The next meeting will be held on Monday December 31, 2012 at 3:00pm.
Meeting adjourned at 4:15 pm.
